Jam 11:35 lagi. Malam. Crazy deadline, not to mention crazy client. And crazy bosses. Oh well, the bosses are not really that crazy, everyone’s just getting pressurized. Anyway memang nggak ada yang maksa gue harus pulang jam segini. Cuma, seperti biasa: nanggung. Uh, harus cepat berberes, kalau nggak bisa ketinggalan MRT lagi.

"What, you’re going to stay back again tonight? C’mon, Hendra, it’s your last week. Just do as needed and don’t overdo it!" saran teman-teman setim gue tadi sore. Mereka  semuanya sudah tahu hari terakhir gue adalah Jumat ini. Ya gue cuma bilang, lihat aja ntar, begitu.

Wah, untung bisnya pas datang. Thanks, Lord. And now I hope the last train will wait for me, too.

Well, it does. 4 more minutes.

SMS atau nggak. SMS atau nggak. SMS.. atau nggak.. Nggak aja kali ye, ntar dia mikir macem-macem lagi.

Tapi.. SMS aja kali ye, biasanya jam segini juga masih SMS-an.

Ah elo Dra, jadi pusing-pusing begini. It’s not like you have some crush on her or something. She’s just cute. And although you do like girl being cute, you’re best buddies. Best buddies SMS each other ’til late at night without worrying mistakening the other’s feeling. Not Ratna, for sure. She’s just nice… and cute. Not everyone’s cute, but ‘my’ type of cute.

Heran, kepikiran dia terus belakangan ini. Apa karena gue mau keluar ya? And for some reason, we just got closer than before. Tapi padahal tiap minggu di gereja juga ketemu. Atau karena gue bakal pulang Sabtu depan? I miss her already? Miss her for what??? Miss her like I missed hanging out with Anto, Juned and Shelly?

Mereka juga sih rencana pulang nggak bilang-bilang. Jadinya tinggal gue berdua yang masih tertinggal. Hehe memang kampungnya beda sih.

Oh well, the train’s here. I’m too tired to type on this slower-than-yours phone. And to think and worry too much tonight. Let’s not do that. Maybe I’ll just drop by some florist before work tomorrow, and schedule a bouquet for her a week after I leave. No sender’s name, of course. This way I can cheer her up for the loads of work she needs to get done. Let her have some secret admirer or guess whether I or Anto send it for her.

Yeah, seems like a good plan. Hoaeem..
